Founded in March, 2006, by brothers Aric and Josh Mussman, Vero Amore, is "truly a labor of love". After working in food service and bars (over 15 years combined), the brothers decided to pursue their dream. To open a restaurant using the highest quality, freshest ingredients to be found, an extensive "boutique" wine list, a casual, but elegant atmosphere, affordable prices and a neighborhood feel with friendly competent service.
When Josh tasted pizza at Tutta Bella in Seattle, he felt he discovered "the perfect pizza". After a lengthy conversation with the owner, he and his brother Aric, signed up for "pizza school" with world renowned Neopolitan pizza expert Peppe Miele.
Josh is the creator of all new recipes and ensuring the strict standards called for in the VPN certification. While Aric brings his expertise in wine with extensive sommelier training, the ever-changing menu promises the search for the best wines from small family vineyards will continue.
Together these brothers bring uncompromising standards to their small and very popular restaurant. We invite you to come in and taste pizza as it was "meant to be".
